My Now page #

If you wonder what a "now page" is, do not anymore!
Head here to understand the origin of this movement.

What am I doing? #

As always, I'm crafting.

Crafting articles (not necessarily for this blog), refining my writing skills, planning what comes next — in life as well as on this blog.

Now, as for the specificities see below.

Last read #

I just finished reading The Secret History by Donna Tartt.

This was a good ride. I recall taking quite a while reaching 50 % of the book. Not because I found it boring but because of my lack of consistency. Once I made a daily (nightly should I say haha) habit of reading before sleep, I pierced the rest in a matter of days.

I really enjoyed it and even read the last few pages multiple times to let the end sink within me and try to grasp the potential subtle cues Donna left in there.

Before this book, A Clockwork Orange was my last read.

Languages #

I'm still learning Japanese.

I focus on Kanji and vocabulary using my beloved app WaniKani. I wish I would dedicate more time to reading (so I can make more sense of all the accumulated vocab) but eh! One day I'll do it instead of wish for it.

One day...

Recent travel #

I went to Taiwan for the first time ever!

This was to attend the wedding of one of my best friends. And also to ... enjoy as many tapioka as possible! This drink is terrific. The number of available combinations in this country simply delights me.

Obviously, I also left Taiwan full of pineapple cakes (the plane nearly couldn't take off lol) and with a good 200g of pure matcha.

Career reflections #

I'm still working on other — undisclosed — blogs.

Becoming a blockchain developer still itches me. I would really love to program secured smart contracts and learn industry-standard best practices when it comes to this discipline.

However, I'm still not there yet. And don't know if I should start.

For now, I'm writing SEO/AIO-optimized content everyday as well as refining the fourth version of Gregordy. I still ponder about whether or not I should specialize even further in backend development for my next job.

Where are you? #

I'm somewhere in Europe but will soon move back to Asia.

Reach out to me on LinkedIn if you're curious about the details — or just want thrilling conversations.
