What is Gregordy.com? #
Gregordy.com is my personal website.
It contains technical, philosophical (or rather introspective) articles, short stories, and even books I'm in the process of writing or already wrote.
Here is an easy access to this site's main content:
- Articles: dive into a myriad of introspective and technical articles.
- Stories: access all my (usually funny) stories.
- Books: get an overview of the current completion of my books.
In case of, this website is also available in French.
Oh, by the way, my name is Grégory.
Who are you Grégory? #
Who am I?
When I think about it for a moment, it's pretty hard to accurately define it. Still, let me give you a standard definition so we can at least get going.
My name is Grégory Poircuitte.
I was born in New Caledonia (a tiny island in the Pacific). During my teenage years, I developed a passion for computers. Later, it's developing software that earned my full attention.
On a daily basis, I spend my time studying Japanese and writing blog posts about various topics. Recently, learning Chinese also started to pique my interest.
I love writing.
Crocodile is my favourite animal. I'm crazy about visual kei (Dir en Grey, Versailles, The Gazette, Kagrra,) and I love animes.
I deeply respect the work Jacques Brel . There was a time when I used to know by heart about a hundred of his songs.
Typography is also a domain I'm fond of.
I can spend hours — if not days — looking for the perfect font pairing that would trigger an emotion the second I land my eyes on a continuous string of characters that uses it.
That's about it for the standard definition of my being.
